Kansas and Daniel’s intimate elopement at Scarritt Bennett Center was a beautiful reminder that meaningful weddings do not have to be large to feel deeply significant. Held during the month of May in Nashville, this elopement included only the couple, their officiant, and me as their photographer. As a Nashville elopement photographer, Scarritt Bennett is one of my favorite locations for intimate weddings because of its timeless chapel, historic architecture, peaceful gardens, and beautiful natural light. After the ceremony, we explored the campus together for outdoor portraits, including several aerial drone photographs that highlighted the beauty of the property.

After the ceremony, we spent time exploring the Scarritt Bennett campus for outdoor wedding portraits. May is one of the best times of year for wedding photography in Nashville because the gardens and trees are full and vibrant while the temperatures remain comfortable. The stone buildings, archways, and pathways throughout the property created countless beautiful backdrops for portraits together.
