March 15, 2026

Alexis and Kyle’s Nashville wedding photos began on a rainy wedding day, creating a soft and romantic atmosphere for their celebration. Before their reception at One Cannery Row, we captured portraits on the beautiful campus of Vanderbilt University, where the historic architecture and tree-lined pathways provided a timeless setting for wedding photography. When the rain picked up, we moved beneath the nearby John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge to stay dry while continuing to photograph the couple together. The overcast light and quiet city backdrop created an intimate and elegant atmosphere for their Nashville wedding portraits before the evening celebration began.

Wedding Portraits at Vanderbilt University

Alexis and Kyle’s wedding day portraits began on the beautiful campus of Vanderbilt University, one of the most picturesque locations in Nashville for wedding photography. The historic stone architecture, tree-lined walkways, and quiet courtyards created a timeless backdrop for their portraits together. Even with the rain throughout the day, the campus offered sheltered spaces and soft overcast light that made their Nashville wedding photos feel both elegant and intimate.

Rainy Day Wedding Photos Beneath the Nashville Pedestrian Bridge

When the rain picked up during the afternoon, we moved beneath the nearby John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge to continue photographing Alexis and Kyle’s portraits while staying dry. The architectural lines of the bridge and the surrounding views of downtown Nashville created a dramatic and modern setting for their rainy day wedding photos. Sometimes unexpected weather leads to the most memorable images, and the quiet atmosphere beneath the bridge added a unique character to their Nashville wedding photography.

Wedding Celebration at One Cannery Row

Following their portraits around Nashville, Alexis and Kyle’s celebration continued at One Cannery Row, a stylish venue located in the historic Cannery Hall complex. The venue’s warm atmosphere and modern design provided the perfect setting for their reception as family and friends gathered to celebrate the evening together. The combination of meaningful moments, joyful toasts, and dancing made the reception a memorable conclusion to their wedding day.
